We hope you love your purchase from The Rooted Home, but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Please review the details below to understand our return and refund process.
Return Window
You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. After 14 days, we’re unable to accept returns.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed.
- All original tags must be attached.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging.
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Any item sent back to us without prior return authorization will not be accepted.
How to Start a Return
To begin the return process, email us at support@therootedhomestore.com with the following:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you’d like to return
- The reason for your return
Once approved, we’ll provide you with instructions for sending your item back.

Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
- You may choose your preferred carrier or request a prepaid label from us.
- If you use our prepaid label, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Restocking Fee
All approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, deducted from the total refund amount.
This fee does not apply if your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at support@therootedhomestore.com with photos. We’ll evaluate the issue and make it right.
Final Sale Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Items in our Rooted Deals collection
- Items in our Seasonal Selections collection
- Gift cards
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the item you want is to return your original item. Once your return is approved and processed, place a new order for your preferred product.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you if your refund has been approved. If approved:
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
- Please allow up to 10 business days for your bank or card provider to process the refund.
